Tim O'Malley is the founder, chief executive officer and publisher of Concierge Preferred, and a co-founder of O'Malley-Magnusson Publishing Group (OMP). A 20-year veteran of the media industry, O'Malley has focused his career primarily on web, newspaper and magazine publishing.
Before founding Concierge Preferred in 2002, O’Malley was a Senior Vice President at TravelCLICK, an electronic marketing services company. While at TravelCLICK, he created a new division of the company that brought together various online travel products, such as Travelocity and Virtually There, to build an online travel advertising network. Prior to that role, O’Malley was publisher of WHERE Chicago Magazine, one of the leading divisions of Miller Publishing, a $120 million company. Within two years he more than doubled the size of the business through both internal growth and acquisition. O’Malley joined Miller Publishing after an award-winning performance with the Los Angeles Times, where he led the advertising team to over $100 million in sales within the central states division.
O'Malley also co-founded the Chicago Visitor's Choice Awards, and sits on the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau's Board of Directors. He has also served on the boards of the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association and the Greater State Street Council, and is President of “One for the Kids” charities. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University, and resides in Indian Head Park with his wife and two sons.

Gilligan started his hospitality career in sales for corporate special events at Windy City Fieldhouse, the Midwest’s largest provider of teambuilding workshops and other corporate outings. In 2005 and 2006, he served as President of the Illinois chapter of Hospitality, Sales, and Marketing International (HSMAI), and he remains on the board of directors.
