Overview
Only 10 miles northwest of the Loop, Jefferson Park is called the "Gateway to Chicago." About half of the residents are of Polish heritage.

Dining/Nightlife
Bakeries, Polish delis, Italian, Mexican, and American types of cuisine. Martini Club is a Euro style discotheque mostly attracting young Polish residents.
Culture & Attractions
The Copernicus Foundation is a non-profit organization that serves as an educational, recreational, and entertainment resource. There is a large statue of Nicolaus Copernicus, Polish scientist and Father of Modern Astronomy, located within the neighborhood.
