Overview
Lincoln Square is like a small town within a city. The "downtown" part of Lincoln Square has a bustling nightlife, quaint shops, and great eateries. You can find Victorian housing, newer condos, and apartment buildings. The parks and streets host numerous event throughout the year.
Shopping
There is a mix of nationally known as well as independently known stores throughout the area. Many specialty stores cover the area, and the owners take much pride in their boutiques. You can find just about anything in this neighborhood.
Dining/Nightlife
Where to begin...there is no shortage of dining or nightlife here. There are cafes, delis, and great restaurants all over. Grab some Italian or Mexican or whatever you desire. The nightlife is also something to check out. Cute German bars or American pubs are a great way to spend a night out.
Culture & Attractions
During the summer months there is a weekly farmers market which brings neighbors together. The German-American Fest is also a popular event that draws in people from all over the area. There is a lot of public art throughout Lincoln Square too, from murals to fountains to statues, there is something interesting to see wherever.
The Low Down
You can easily spend the late-afternoon through evening in Lincoln Square. Grab a bite to eat in town and then hit one of the local bars like the German joint Carola's Hansa Clipper.
