Every city has a neighborhood beloved for its shopping prizes and surprises, and Chicago is no exception. Lincoln Park has long been a favorite shopping spot, and it continues to reinvent itself, too. Along Lincoln Park 's shopping corridors you'll see high-end shops and bohemian boutiques. You'll also see why Chicago shoppers venture beyond the Magnificent Mile into Lincoln Park 's fun, funky and fashionable shopping atmosphere.
Armitage & Halsted Corridor
Lincoln Park is inviting and beckons casual and serious shoppers alike. Independent shops as well as numerous national chains make for a well-rounded experience. Lori's Shoes (824 W. Armitage Ave., 773-281-5655) is a local favorite sure to satisfy your inner shoe fetish, with stacks and stacks of shoeboxes covering its floor. 1154 Lill Studio (904 W. Armitage Ave., 773-477-LILL) makes Lincoln Park home to its flagship store, a downright addictive shop where you can custom design your own handbag. At Multiple Choices (840 W. Armitage Ave., 773-477-4520), expect to find the perfect gift for that bridal shower, new baby, or other occasion. Across the street at Kiehl's (907 W. Armitage Ave., 773-665-2515), you'll find more gift options for those who appreciate personal indulgences (not to exclude yourself). For a piece of Ireland without the usual fare found in Irish stores, check out Nuada (1022 W. Armitage Ave., 773-525-4200,), where Celtic designs abound in everything from home accessories to fashion.
Renowned designers have also made the area home. Chicago Native Cynthia Rowley has a boutique at 808 W. Just south of the Armitage and Halsted intersection, and conveniently centered around the Red Line "L" stop North & Clybourn, is Lincoln Park 's most burgeoning shopping center.
