When it comes to the John Hancock Observatory, there is a vast amount of dining options. Whether you feel like dining at a casual or posh restaurant, the Hancock is filled with nearby restaurants on the Magnificent Mile or in the building.
Hancock Dining
For a quick snack, Espressions by LavAzza, located on the 94th floor of the Hancock, is a delicious destination. For dinner, try the famous Signature Room located on the 95th and 96th floors of the Hancock or the ever-welcoming Cheesecake Factory, located at the base of the Hancock. Or, if you'd like to take a stroll through the Mag Mile, nearby restaurants include ESPN Zone, Rainforest Café and many more.
Signature Room
Enjoy brunch, lunch or dinner high above the streets of Chicago at the Signature Room and Signature Lounge - located on the 95th and 96th floors of the Hancock Center, respectively. The Signature Room features delicious standards such as duck, steak, chops and lobster. Although the menu is divine, he gorgeous panoramic views of Chicago are the real star of the Signature Room.
The Cheesecake Factory
The ever-inviting Cheesecake Factory, situated at the base of the Hancock Center, offers the classic American dining experience - and everyone's favorite guilty pleasure, cheesecake.
Espression by LavAzza
Featuring world‐class Italian espresso and specialties created by celebrity chefs, Espression by LavAzza concept café will open on the 94th floor of the Hancock Building in November 2008. This casually elegant European‐style coffee shop will serve exceptional coffee beverages as well as freshly prepared breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, pastries and gelato. LavAzza will also offer its signature Éspesso™, the coffee you can eat, which was named among Time Magazine’s best inventions of 2006.
ESPN Zone
Whether there's a big game going on or you just want to enjoy arcades and eat, the ESPN Zone offers a variety of attractions. With a full floor of arcades and games and a bar and dining area loaded with televisions, you can find yourself spending an entire dayat the ESPN Zone.
Rainforest Café
Enjoy pasta, shrimp, pizza, quesadillas and wings in the presence of fake elephants, gators, monkeys and a variety of birds. This restaurant really puts you in a rainforest with sounds of rain, thunder and animal calls as you dine.
