Buddy Guy’s Legends is the go-to destination for anyone taking a break from the city’s Blues Fest activities, thanks in part to its very close proximity to Grant Park but also because of its all-day music line-ups and food offerings. Buddy Guy’s has once again expanded its Blues Fest programming to include Blues Brunch on both Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.  The buffet brunch will cost $15 per person and will be accompanied with live acoustic musical sets by Guy King on Saturday and Harmonica Hinds on Sunday.  The brunch menu will include biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, muffins, coffee and juice.

Anyone who misses brunch can catch many more musical acts and feast on authentic down-home Cajun food for lunch, dinner and late-night bites.  The scheduled performers on Saturday, June 7th are Guy King at 11 a.m.; Tail Dragger at  p.m.; Jimmy Johnson at 5 p.m.; Billy Branch at 8 p.m.; and Magic Slim at 11 p.m.  The performers on Sunday, June 8th are Harmonica Hinds at 11 a.m.; Nellie Travis at 3:30 p.m.; Carlos Johnson at 7 p.m.; and Lil’ Ed and the Blues Emperials at 10:30 p.m.

A $15-per-person charge at the door from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. includes entertainment and brunch. There will be a separate $15 per person cover collected at 7 p.m. for the evening.  No tickets will be available ahead of time.  Buddy Guy’s Legends is located at 754 S.
