Event Details

Whether you rooted for Gryffindor or hoped that Slyterin destroyed them on the Quidditch pitch, your fill of the boy magician awaits at the Museum's latest exciting show: Harry Potter -- The Exhibition. This world premiere will showcase dozens of original costumes as excited young Potter fans don their own robes, glasses and other Potter garb, recreating those imaginative moments so carefully crafted by J.K. Rowling.

More than 200 props, costumes and sets will be on display with highlights including Harry's original wand and eyeglasses, gowns from the Yule Ball and school uniforms. Guests can wander through Hagrid's hut and toss a quaffle on a Quidditch field. And watch out -- you may even come face to face with the mighty Buckbeak, but don't worry, he's already eaten and shouldn't be too hungry! Fans will also get a sneak peek at the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which hits theaters on July 17, 2009!
