Come see modern poet and def poetry jam artist Kevin Coval celebrate the release of his new book of poems, Everyday People, at the Victory Gardens Theater. Kevin has been praised by author Studs Terkel and hip-hop artist Mos Def as an inspirational poet and performer, and both recitations of his work will be followed by interviews and performances by the Tim Lincoln Trio.
Shows begin at 7:30pm each night, and ticket prices range from $15, which includes a free audio CD, or $25 for a ticket including a CD and copy of his new book, Everyday People. For more information, visit the Victory Gardens Theater website.
