Chef Jeffrey S. Muldrow, owner of Va Pensiero and Red Limo Cuisine in Northfield, opened the doors of this Evanston location in 1989. Since then, they have tried to mimic Italian traditions of hospitality and quality. They import many ingredients from Italy to ensure this authentic promise. They have import several cheeses from Italy, but still house some made right here in the U.S. The wine selection is also 100% Italian.
