Established in 1939, Shoreline Sightseeing offers a range of boat tours showcasing the vaunted skyline of Chicago. Owned by the same family for three generations, Shoreline has a fleet of nine touring vessels and eight water taxis. All of Shoreline's touring vessels are custom built and/or modified to the highest standards.

In addition to its regular schedule of boat tours, Shorelines offers private charters that include full event planning services. Their fleet even includes some year-round vessels specially outfitted for private charters. Groups of 30 or more can even use Shoreline's "Tour & Travel" service to plan other aspects of their trip to Chicago.

Tours depart from Navy Pier, the Shedd Aquarium and, during the Taste of Chicago, Buckingham Fountain. Water taxis run between Navy Pier and the Sears Tower; also, Navy Pier and the Shedd Aquarium. A dock right off Michigan Avenue is now in operation, as well.
