Full Details:

Enjoy a classy night out while listening to live music. Ravinia is a place for families and friends to sit on blankets in the lawn and enjoy some wine. There is also pavilion seating for those who are especially interested in the musical acts. However, most guests like to bring picnics and sit in the lawn.

Ravinia has some special discounts that are available for certain people, some things one should avoid bringing, and additional seating options. See below for more information on these.

The Full House Special
Ravinia would like to have a full house for the CSO concerts on July 27 and July 30. Because of this, they are offering pavilion tickets at the reduced rate of $25. 

Terrace Seating
During some of the evening concerts, terrace seating will be available in the new dining pavilion, either on the second-floor terrace of the Park View restaurant or on the first-floor patio of the Mirabelle restaurant. The cost is $50 plus a guaranteed minimum purchase of $40 per person at the dining pavilion. Food and drinks are then available for ticket holders during the performance, however, the stage is not visible from the terrace seating.

Last Chance Ticket Opportunities
Last Chance tickets are available for purchase, but are sold on a first come first serve basis and have an additional fee of $90-250 depending on the level of demand. 

Children's Tickets
All children, including infants, must have a ticket. Children 5 and under are admitted free ti the lawn for Chicago Symphony Orchestra concerts. Children 6-10 are admitted to the lawn for $5 for CSO concerts. Lawn admission for children 10 and under to all other evening performances is $5.

Special Offer for Young Musicians
High school students who are in band, can get reduced tickets to the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra or The 5 Browns.

Group Sales
If you want to bring a group of 20 or more people, certain discounts may be available. Call Ravinia's group rate line at.  Call 847-266-5087 to plan your party.

Free Lawn Pass with College I.D.
If you bring a valid college I.D. the evening of a performance, you will receive a free lawn ticket for that performance. It is one pass per valid student I.D. Also, reserved seats are available for $10 with the student I.D.

Lawn Sell-Outs

Lawn Chairs and Tables
Ravinia does allow lawn tables and chairs to be brought or they are also available for rent at the festival.

Please Do Not Bring 
There are certain things Ravinia does not allow to be brought to the festival. These include: Pets, weapons, grills, kegs, umbrellas over six feet in diameter, tents, canopies or anything that needs to be staked into the ground. Also, Ravinia is a smoke-free environment, so leave the cigarettes and cigars at home.

Weather
Ravinia concerts happen rain or shine. Use your own judgement when deciding whether to attend or not. Ravinia has a weather line you can also check conditions by calling 847-433-5010.
