More about David Burke's Primehouse...
Short Description:
Nestled inside the St. James Hotel on the corner of Rush and Ontario streets, this contemporary Chicago steakhouse not only serves mouth-watering steaks, but offers patrons tastey appetizers and unique seafood creations as well.
Full Details:
David Burke's Primehouse prides itself on not only being one of Chicago's premier steakhouses, serving up savory meats hand-picked from Creekstone Farms in Kentucky, and dry-aged in a salt-tiled room on the premises; they provide an array of seafood choices like east coast/west coast oysters, fresh crab and jumbo shrimp appetizers. Entrees range from chicken, pork, veal and lamb chops, to lobster tail, ahi tuna, salmon and of course, steaks of all cuts and flavors.
What makes Primehouse different from most other steakhouses is that it not only dishes up excellent meals for lunch and dinner, but opens its doors at 7 a.m. for breakfast daily. Pancakes, waffles, cereal and eggs can be found on Primehouse’s breakfast menu, along with healthy oatmeal and fruit selections. One of the highlights of being an early bird Primehouse patron is that they offer home-made “fill-your-own” donut holes, where you become the chef and choose your filling of either grape jelly, vanilla custard, or chocolate cream.
