Spice up your day with this Latino flavored restaurant. The multi-colored outside is enough to make you want to step inside. The restaurant has lively music and great food. As an added plus, they support local farmers and only use sustainable or wild seafood. They also have an array of beverages such as Sangria, Margaritas, Beer, and Wine.
Carnivale is also making a huge effort to go green. They have not only replaced their bottled water with a "Simply Pure" water filtration system guaranteed to make water 99.9% pure, but are also using some sustainable ingredients, organic ingredients, andmany ingredients grown by local farmers to support the local economy.They have also embraced recycling and have their own roof-top garden. They are also using seasonal fruit to produce their own syrups and purees for cocktails and specialty drinks.
Also, from May through September, for one week each month, they are offering a "Farm to Table Celebration" featuring specially prepared meals by Executive Chef Mark Mendez using seasonal ingredients from local growers and "Chicago's Green City Market".
There will also be a "Farmer's Market Prix-Fixe Lunch" offered every Thursday from June to October which will be a three-course meal featuring ingredients purchased at the "Green City Market" on Wednesdays." The cost for the meal is $19 per person plus tax and gratuity.
