Entering the 100th season since their last World Series win in 1908, the Chicago Cubs are attempting to reverse the "Curse of the Billy Goat" - hexed upon them during the 1945 World Series. North Side baseball fans are revved up for the 2008 season, hopeful that this will be the year the curse is broken. The Cubs play in historic Wrigley Field. Built in 1914, Wrigley Field is second only to Fenway Park as the oldest active major league baseball park. Seating capacity at Wrigley is 41,118, and, unlike the White Sox's U.S. Cellular Field, Wrigley Field serves beer. Lou Pinella is the Cubs' manager.
