A perfect day for me would start out with coffee and a Lumberjack Breakfast at Le Peep, followed by a stroll to The Art Institute to check out the latest exhibit. For lunch, I would head up to Old Town for Topo Gigio's Caprese salad. As an afternoon treat, I would head to Spa Space for a deep tissue massage. Ultimately I would wine up at Powerhouse Restaurant for a glass of Argintenean wine, 9-oz. tenderloin and some sweet potato doughnuts.

The best way to start your day is to enjoy an extraordinary brunch at a local gastro pub, The Gage. Afterwards, head across the street into Millennium Park to take photos by the Cloud Gate sculpture and the Crown Fountain. An evening in Old Town at Bistrot Margot, a French bistro, is a terrific choice, especially when followed by a night of laughter at Zanie's Comedy Club.

Explore the West Loop and head over to Ina's for vanilla bean waffles and bottomless Intellgentsia coffee. Visit local art galleries like Function + Art; then indulge at the gorgeous, Latin-themed restaurant, Carnivale. Later, pick up affordable items from 2 Sisters and Bess & Loie. Stop in for the Shogun maki at Meiji and finish the day with a raspberry basil daiquiri from De Cero Taqueria.
