Featuring exhibition artists Patricia Evans, Susan Plum, Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, and Hank Willis Thomas, this panel presents a public dialogue about the ways in which art can be a tool of expression and action for social change.

Organized by the Ellen Stone Belic Institute for the Study of Women & Gender in the Arts & Media and co-presented by The Voices and Faces Project, with support from the Leadership Donors of the Ellen Stone Belic Institute and Chicago Foundation for Women.

This discussion is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Off the Beaten Path: Violence, Women and Art. The free program series for the exhibition considers the global issue of violence against women through a series of innovative local programs organized by the Ellen Stone Belic Institute for the Study of Women & Gender in the Arts & Media; Rape Victim Advocates; and The Voices and Faces Project.
