Navy Pier is proud to celebrate the rich tapestry of Chicago’s diverse ethnic communities, in an all-new tribute: Neighborhoods of the World, presented each Sunday, February 6 – April 3, 12 Noon - 5 pm, in Navy Pier’s Crystal Gardens. This event is FREE and open to the public. Celebrate the many cultures of our world-class city by enjoying authentic live music and dance performances, cuisine, art, and community vendors from nine different ethnic Chicago communities.
Join Navy Pier for a one-of-kind celebration of authentic Mexican food, music, and art. In cooperation with the Consulate General of Mexico, Casa Michoacan, and Mexico Tourism Board, Celebrate Mexico will take place on Sunday, March 20, 2011. Special performances include Mexican Dance Ensemble, Tarima Son, and more.
