One of Chicago's most used and revered attractions, Navy Pier boasts a wide range of possible activities. Arranged in its present form in 1995 and set right on the shore of Lake Michigan, Navy Pier features rides like the 15-story-tall McDonalds Ferris wheel, museums and restaurants ranging from casual to fine-dining.
You'll ramble more than 50 acres of parks, promenades, gardens, shops, eateries and attractions. Hit the Pepsi Skyline for regular music and performance acts; or visit the Chicago Children's Museum.
As Chicago's lakefront playground, there is always something happening. Ride the ferris wheel for a view of the city, play a game of mini-golf, get your heart pumping with the new Transporter thrill ride, and visit the Smith Museum of Stained Glass windows all in one day. Be sure to check out the IMAX theatre for hit movies in exciting 3-D.
