This family-owned Italian spot has been a Loop mainstay since 1927. There are three eateries under one roof; look for upscale Italian in elegant Vivere and more casual fare at The Village and La Cantina. The cuisine options here range from the experimental, cutting-edge food served at the whimsically-designed Vivere to more comfortable Italian fare elsewhere. Upstairs, a stand-alone bar area keeps a mix of locals and visitors entertained with well-trained, interactive bartenders and a lively mix of characters, too.
