Short Description:
The Grandel Theatre is a division of the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, bringing great off-beat drama to life in this cozy venue.
Full Details:
Off-Ramp is a provocative series of two new plays from The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, performed at the Grandel Theatre. This series will leave you laughing, crying or simply wondering what's next.
Off-Ramp comes to The Grandel Theatre—in the heart of St. Louis's Grand Center arts and entertainment district, just down Grand Boulevard from the Fox—a great space to see great shows.
The 2007-2008 series opens with the improbably violent and funny drama, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, about a mad Irish terrorist who has extreme bloodlust, and needs to find out who ran over his cat. The second show, The Little Dog Laughed, features a ruthless Hollywood agent who needs to keep her gay star-client in the closet for his career to launch; a hilarious comedy about the entertainment industry and all its shortcomings.
