Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse

With a classic Chicago feel, tried and true cuisine, and impeccable service this Rush Street icon is a favorite of Shannon Boland, chef concierge at LondonHouse Chicago. Fun fact? Gibsons is the only restaurant group in the country to be awarded their own USDA Prime Certification.

Benny’s Chop House

If you prefer something more modern than old school, Tim Anderson, concierge at the Dana Hotel says that Benny’s tops his list. Decked out with plush booths and dark wood accents, you’ll find serious wine and cocktails, rolling champagne carts, and huge slabs of dry-aged beef.

Steak 48

This stylish and welcome newcomer to the Chicago prime meats game is a favorite of Jenna Kerr, concierge at the Conrad Chicago, who suggests that you don’t touch the plate. Why? Because steaks here arrive to you in epic fashion on a sizzling, 500 degree ceramic surface.

Maple & Ash

Best-described as a swanky 21st century version of the venerable Chicago steakhouse, this Gold Coast hot spot isn’t afraid to have fun and do things a little differently, which is one of the reasons why it’s one of JW Marriott Chicago concierge Matthew Chapman’s favorite.

Kinzie Chophouse

This River North favorite boasts a cozy, incredibly welcoming atmosphere and shines a spotlight on their exclusive steak cuts and hand-selected, award-winning wine list. Fun fact? Kinzie Chophouse is the only female- owned steakhouse in Chicago.

Other steak favorites: Prime & Provisions, Rosebud Steakhouse, and Sullivan’s Steakhouse.

Concierge Tip

Without a doubt, Maple and Ash has everything you want in a steakhouse. Great energy, lavish decor, attentive service, and delicious steaks.
