Santa Claus Comes to Navy Pier

The beginning of the holiday season can be marked by many things: the first snowflake, Black Friday, or that first holiday song that you hear on the radio. For Navy Pier, it’s when Santa Claus makes his long-awaited arrival. This is a fantastic family event that will have your child’s eyes lighting up with wonder and amazement. Have those wish lists ready, because Santa Claus is coming to town!

Visit Chicago’s Navy Pier for Family Fun This Holiday Season
Santa Claus will be arriving at Navy Pier on Saturday, November 26 at 5 p.m. As Santa’s reindeer are resting at the North Pole, the jolly old man will arrive by one of Shoreline Sightseeing’s boats under a dark sky that will be lit up by a spectacular fireworks display. Grab the family and head to the Grand Staircase to see the spectacle, located outside near Navy Pier’s gigantic Ferris wheel.

Beginning on November 27, Santa’s beloved wife, Mrs. Claus, will join in on the holiday cheer along with their hard-working elves. They will be visiting with guests together at the Family Pavilion Stage which is located at the west end of Navy Pier. Santa Claus will be available from November 27 to December 15 at the following times:

  • Monday – Thursday: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Friday – Sunday: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • December 16 – 23: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • December 24: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
