Besides cold winters, Chicago is abundantly known for the amazing cuisine and the dishes don’t stop coming once temps drop! If you’re in Chicago around the holidays, there is nothing better than a festive Chicago holiday dining experience. All across the city and at a broad price point, these four restaurants are mainstays in the Chicago holiday dining scene and with good reason – the food is just as amazing as the brightly lit and beautiful ambience. Check out some concierge favorites before heading out to your next holiday meal!

My daughters and I plan a yearly holiday visit to Old Town. We love the shops and festive atmosphere of Wells Street. The day would not be complete without dinner at Topo Gigio – a longtime fixture in Old Town. The food, atmosphere and staff put us in a holiday mood every time!

I love checking out the Walnut Room at Macy’s on State Street. You can’t help but get into the holiday spirit while dining around their beautiful (and massive!) Christmas tree.

Shannon Boland LONDONHOUSE CHICAGO

There’s no better place to get you in the holiday spirit than Butch McGuire’s! It’s a holiday explosion. They’ve literally decked the halls with lights, toy trains, garlands and more! The unexpected (and super exciting) holiday decorations to an Irish pub are the cherry on the sundae of an already awesome bar and restaurant.

Marcus Hollis OMNI HOTEL

Christkindlmarket has the most amazing Glühwein! While not a restaurant per se, Christkindlmarket has a great variety of options for Chicago holiday dining. I love going there to enjoy the lights and decorations and look at all the ornaments, artisan booths, and food stands. #ChicagoInsiders Tip: Don’t forget to grab a mug – they’re one of Chicago’s biggest holiday collector’s items!
