Chicago Chop House: A Menu and Experience Worth Posting to your Facebook Story

Share

Combine Chicago history with an array of dry aged steaks and you get the experience that is Chicago Chop House. Nestled in a century-old River North brownstone, Chicago Chop House is home to award winning menu items that will have your Facebook followers drooling with envy. The best part? In addition to recently updated Dinner and Happy Hour menus, Chicago Chop House has rolled out a Lunch menu every Friday! Let’s break it down:

Got Beef?

Wet- and dry-aged beef is the name of the game at Chicago Chop House. Locally-sourced and sustainably-raised Linz Heritage Angus beef is available in a variety of cuts and enhancements. You don’t want to miss out on the oh-so Facebook-worthy Tomahawk Ribeye or a delectable cut from their Waygu Reserve section.

It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere

Happy hour at Chicago Chop House is always happy with an updated cocktail and food menu! From 4pm-6pm, Chop House offers food specials that include Prime Rib Sliders, a half rack of Duke of Bacon, a Charcuterie Board, and more. Of course, if you’re at Happy Hour, you’re looking for a great cocktail, and there is no shortage of those! All call cocktails and select glasses of wine are just $8 during Happy Hour, so prep yourself for a great “cheers!” Boomerang on that Facebook story.

Because I’m ‘Appy

If you’re heading to Chicago Chop House, it would be a mistake to avoid the appetizer menu. By popular demand, off-menu favorite Duke of Bacon (a literal rack of Nueske bacon) has been added to the appetizer menu. Available in a full rack during dinner and in a half rack during Friday lunch, this appetizer is just as delicious as it is photo-worthy.

Get Your Just Desserts

Who says gold is only for Michael Phelps’ medals? Top off your dinner with a 24 Karat Key Lime Pie, a dessert so beautiful and tasty that you’ll need to post about it. Topped in gold leaf, this pie is the perfect way to round out your experience at Chicago Chop House, and you don’t want to miss it!
