How Much Does the Museum Cost?
The Chicago Children's Museum offers free admission to children under one as well as members of their elite club. Children and adults alike are expected to pay a mere $12, while senior citizens pay $11.
And aside from being located in the most phenomenal city in the world, the Chicago Children's Museum also offers several exclusive offers. For instance, their Target Free First Sunday’s initiative allows free admission all day for ages 15 and under. Likewise, their Kraft Free Family Night initiative takes place on Thursday evenings from 5-8 pm and offers free admission for everyone.
Chicago Children's Museum Exhibits
As if that were not enough, the museum houses three floors of play with 15 permanent exhibits and programming spaces. The most popular of these include the Dinosaur Expedition where kids dig for dinosaur bones, Water Ways where the wonders of water are showcased, and Play It Safe which promotes fire safety. These are all easily accessible to all guests. In fact, the museum also provides stroller parking areas outside of many of the exhibits. To further accommodate children who do not walk yet, the museum offers Pritzker Playplace which is specific for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their parents. Not to mention there are a total of six exhibits that feature soft and semi-protected infant and crawler spaces.
