Celebrate All Things Weird & Wacky at Chicago Fringe Festival

Secure your spot at Chicago’s most fringe-tacular theatrical event and find out about what theatrical secrets will be found sneaking around in Jefferson Park at the 8th annual Chicago Fringe Festival.

The festival, which runs Aug. 30-Sept. 10, features 50 groups in about 200 performances selected by lottery. The shows include comedies, dramas, dance theater, musicals, performance art, and the unclassifiable. This is an uncensored, unjuried, no-holds barred performance event that returns 100% of ticket sales to the artists. In their first seven years, they have returned over $200,000 to artists.

The Chicago Fringe Festival is a member of the Fringe Festival movement and is one of many festivals held throughout the world. The Chicago Fringe Festival unites daring theatergoers with emerging and boundary-pushing local, national and international performing artists while seeking to engage nontraditional audiences through a commitment to low ticket prices and outreach into artistically underserved communities.
