ARTropolis takes up three full floors of the city's Merchandise Mart from April 25-28. The centerpiece is Art Chicago, a 180-gallery art fair representing more than 2,000 artists. Satellite shows include NEXT (an invitational show of emerging dealers), the Artist Project (a juried show of undiscovered, unrepresented artists), the Intuit Show (featuring self-taught and outsider artists), and the Merchandise Mart International Antiques Fair (showcasing rare and unique antiques from 125-plus international dealers).
