3 Must-Try Late Night Bars

Share
River Shannon, a late-night AND dog-friendly neighborhood bar

Neighborhood Vibe

Lincoln Park’s go-to Irish pub for over 70 years, you’d be remiss not to belly up to the bar at River Shannon and share a pint (or three) with the friendly locals–including dogs, as they’re canine-friendly–who frequent the place. Libations and conversations ow freely here, and often do so until the wee hours of the morning (they’re open until 2 a.m. daily and 3 a.m. on Saturdays).

Classic Chicago

Nestled on Division Street you’ll find The Lodge Tavern, the epitome of a Chicago neighborhood bar that also happens to stay open until 4 a.m. daily and 5 a.m. on Saturdays. Pull up a seat, order your favorite beer, snack on some peanuts, and discover what all the fuss is about. Insider tip: Head back to the “Bullpen” as you may just catch a glimpse of Eddie Vedder or Bill Murray who regularly visit.

Island Atmosphere

Are blended fruity drinks and a Caribbean vibe more your speed? Then let Coconutz take you away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city and transport you right into an island state of mind. Grab your flip flops and meet your friends at your new favorite late-night hangout in the Gold Coast. They’re open until 4 a.m. on Fridays and 5 a.m. on Saturdays.
