Live Lobster, Live Music, and Libations this Labor Day

The Great American Lobster Fest is the Midwest’s largest lobster and seafood festival and it returns to Navy Pier this Labor Day Weekend (Sept. 1-3).

Held primarily in the Aon Grand Ballroom, attendees may enjoy live lobster flown in fresh from the cold waters of the East Coast, live music performances, family-friendly games and activities, unique craft shopping, land food options, and cold beverages. What’s not to love?

Packages, Entertainment, and More:

New for 2017,  VIP packages will be larger and more lavish than ever.  Guests can enjoy exclusive access, preferred seating, whole lobster meals, and six drink or food sampling vouchers (all included with one package price).  There will also be four more hours of additional food and whiskey tastings courtesy of Larceny Whiskey and The New England Seafood Company Catering & Events.

Headliners and Music

What festival would be complete without it?  This year’s talent lineup will showcase over 20 bands on two stages.  Both local and national acts will be performing live including:  The Giving Tree Band, Tributes to James Brown, Jimmy Buffet, Billy Joel, Elton John, Santana, and U with local original music favorites Fey Ray, Cloud 9, Band Called Catch and more. Saturday night’s headliner will be The Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, who are celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the song  “Zoot Suite Riot”.

Excellent Beverage Programs are sure to quench thirst of all shapes and sizes. Peroni, Deep Eddy Vodka, Larceny Whiskey, Topo-Chico Mineral Water, Crispin Cider, Blue Moon, Miller Light, and More.
